X:9 T:Dinny Mescall's M:12/8 R:Slide B:Treoir 1969 L:1/8 N:S\'eamas Mac Math\'una. This tune in 12/8 time is named after a fiddler from N:Cooraclare, from whom Patrick Kelly learned many tunes. Dinny was a pupil of George N:Whelan. This type of tune was often played for the fifth figure of the Clare Set. I N:first heard it about 15years ago in McInerney's (Jacky's) of Cooraclare. Mrs. N:McInerney and William Harvey - go ndeara Dhia trochaire ortha araon - were I think N:the players. But I never heard it again, nor had I any name for it until Patrick N:Kelly played it for me last year.
