N:It was Denis Murphy (R.I.P.) who played this one for me. Someone, in the company at
N:that session, delighted with the sweet music which Denis was getting out of the
N:fiddle remarked "now she's purring", and as Denis had no name for the reel we
N:baptised it there and then. Padraig O Caoimh was also wont to remark "she's purring",
N:when expressing satisfaction with his fiddle.
