S:The Irish traditional dance music in this issue are taken from a set of tunes sent
S:to us by Bill Black of the Hanafin-Cooley Branch in Boston. Bill is in the proces of
S:putting together a substantial collection of fairly rare tunes which may hopefully
S:be published in due course. The comments accompanying each tune are Bill's also.
N:A nice whistle tune from Clarman Jimmy Hogan, who has lots of tunes but not as many
N:names. Since we were in the Catskills when he first played it for me, I figured this
N:name was as good as any.
