N:A Nation Once Again. Tunes in this issue of Treoir have been selected to reflect the
N:themes of Fleadh Nua 2006 held in Ennis last May. The march A Nation Once Again was
N:featured throughout the 1916 Commemoration concert in Gl\'or by the Turloughmore
N:C\'eil\'i Band and includes the distinctive introduction originally used by the
N:great Kilfenora band of the 1950s and '60s. The jigs selection was also popular in
N:the repertoire of Kilfenora musicians, some of whom joined with the new Kilfenora
N:C\'eil\'i Band for that magic concert in Cois na hAbhna on the Wednesday night of
N:the Fleadh. This concert, which featured many of the musicians from Robbie McMahon's
N:song commemorating the great Fleadh Cheoil na h\'Eireann held in Ennis back in 1956,
N:evoked fond memories of that exceptional event. A Nation Once Again is featured on
N:the Turloughmore's Seven Streams CD, which is reviewed in this issue of Treoir.
