- Maidir le:
Singer and lilter Séamus Brogan, another leader in the development of Comhaltas in Britain over the decades, brought many of the great songs and tunes with him from his native Enniscorthy, Co. Wexford. Influenced by his mother, the well-known singer and lilter Mary Brogan, Séamus has a large repertoire. Here he lilts a lovely setting of a old hornpipe which he learned many decades ago from Jimmy Sinnott from Kilmore, Co. Wexford, who called the tune "Honan's Hornpipe". It is also sometimes called "The Rover Tho' The Bog."
