Originally from Newport, Co. Tipperary, button accordion player Murt Ryan and his brother Noel (guitar) now live in Ennis, Co. Clare. Together with well-known banjo player Marcus Maloney from Cappamore, Co. Limerick, they play three reels ending with "[The Whistling Postman](http://comhaltas.ie/music/detail/the_whistling_postman "The Whistling Postman - Sheet Music")" which is this week's [tutorial](http://comhaltas.ie/music/detail/the_whistling_postman "The Whistling Postman - Sheet Music"). Although often credited to Paddy O’ Brien, the accordion maestro and composer from Nenagh, Co. Tipperary, Paddy did not compose this tune. However, he did compose a reel, "The Four-Leafed Shamrock", the beginning of which slightly resembles "The Whistling Postman". They were recorded at the Peig Ryan Tribute Concert held in June of 2007. [*Download Audio*](http://media.comhaltas.ie/audio/cl237/cl237_4.mp3 "Audio - Murt Ryan and friends")
