Our Featured Musician this week is well known flute player Gary Shannon MA (Irish Music Performance). As well as being an outstanding player, Gary has been teaching music extensively over the last 15 years and has influenced many of today’s musicians. He plays two reels, the first of which he learned from the playing of Patrick Ourseau from Paris and the second was composed by one of the great exponents of the piano accordion, Karen Tweed.
