- 1,000 open-reel 1/4" audio tapes, largely field recordings, with accompanying labels and notes, held at Cultúrlann na hÉireann. These tapes were collected during the tenure Séamus MacMathúna as the Timre Cheoil (Music Officer) of CCÉ. Many of these recordings were made by Séamus himself, while others were collected and donated to Comhaltas during this timer period.

This seems to me to be a hop jig.

A slip or hop jig for sure. It actually bears some resemblance to one of the Dusty Miller hop jigs that Seamus Ennis played.
